Video Gear I love
Canon T2i (Digital SLR with HD Video capabilities)
Cost: $800.00
Why I love it: For $800, you’ll be hard-pressed to find anything else like it. With full DSLR functionality and HD Video capabilities, external mic hook-up, the ability to shoot at iso 6400, and high fps, my video reviews will now be flawless. I am completely in love with the camera so far and will update this site as soon as I have some footage up.
Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D (World’s first point-and-shoot 3D Camera)
Why I want it: As a former optical designer, I have full faith in the capabilities of this camera. While I have not tested one out, I haven’t seen anything like it for such an amazing price. This 10 megapixel pocket camera weighs only 9.2 ounces and can shoot both video and regular photos.
Kodak Playsport (Digital Video Camera)
Cost: $149.00
Why I’m getting it: This beats the Flip in almost every category yet has not had the publicity it deserved. With HD video capabilities, 4x digital zoom, a 2-inch display, and the ability to shoot up to 10 feet underwater, it’s definitely a steal.
Happy shopping!
